Job Summary: We are seeking a Kitchen Assistant to support the preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes at a 5-star hotel in the Balearic Islands, following supervisors' guidelines. Relevant experience valued for the role INSOTEL HOTEL GROUP is a well-known hotel chain in the Balearic Islands undergoing active expansion. Your primary responsibility within the company will be to assist the Head Chef in preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes from the gastronomic menu, adhering strictly to instructions provided by the Head Chef and Sous Chef, according to the pre-agreed menu, while complying with established safety, hygiene, and environmental protection regulations. These vacancies are for the Insotel Fenicia Prestige Suites & Spa 5* hotel. Your main responsibilities will include: * Assisting in the preparation of assigned dishes under the guidance of your supervisor, the Station Chef. * Ensuring excellent presentation of all dishes. * Knowing and preparing standard recipes and ingredient lists (bill of materials) for all items produced in the kitchen department. * Reporting ingredient requirements to the Station Chef. * Cleaning and organizing your station. * Following previously agreed service instructions. * Performing other duties inherent to the department.
