**Product Manager** ====================== **About Us** ------------------ TERRAPILAR is a company dedicated to the distribution and sale of construction materials, with commercial presence in the provinces of Alicante and Murcia. **Job Description** -------------------------- The selected candidate will be responsible for managing, developing, and optimizing their product family in accordance with the company’s purchasing policy and supplier relationship strategy, as defined by senior management, to secure optimal purchasing terms, establish long-term, effective, and stable supplier relationships based on mutual trust and benefit. **Key Responsibilities** --------------------------------- The main responsibilities of this position include: * Conduct negotiations with suppliers (pricing, discounts, rebates, quality standards, delivery methods, etc.) to achieve the best possible purchasing conditions. * Collaborate with the Marketing Department on promotional activities aimed at increasing sales (e.g., product catalogs, special offers, etc.). * Ensure compliance with agreed-upon supplier terms (invoice verification, returns, discounts, etc.), resolving any related issues promptly. * Address customer complaints regarding products, proposing and implementing necessary corrective actions. * Optimize the balance between demand and warehouse stock to guarantee fulfillment of committed service timelines to customers, maintain appropriate inventory turnover rates, and prevent obsolete stock accumulation. * Respond to technical inquiries about the assigned product portfolio raised by sales representatives and vendors. * Manage proper product presentation in showrooms, self-service areas, display panels, construction-site displays, etc. * Provide ongoing technical training to the sales force to ensure thorough familiarity with the company’s product range (technical specifications, applications, installation methods, sales arguments, etc.). * Drive product innovation by attending trade fairs, industry forums, sector publications, or other information sources to remain continuously updated on new developments and innovations suitable for integration into the sales pipeline. * Conduct visits and technical support for specifiers (architects, interior designers, decorators, etc.), especially for innovative or highly technical products. **Requirements** -------------- * Education: Engineering, Technical Architecture, or equivalent.\- Marketing – Product Development training is a plus.\- Minimum 2 years’ experience in similar roles (e.g., Product Manager, Category/Division Manager, Procurement Specialist, or similar).\- Languages: Good command of English **What We Offer** ---------------- Join an innovative company strongly oriented toward growth and expansion, and become part of a dynamic team that combines youth and experience, enthusiasm and intelligence, professionalism and a drive for innovation. **Details** ------------ Location: Pilar de la Horadada (Alicante) Work Schedule: Full-time Working Hours: Split shift 8:30 \- 13:30 / 15:30 \- 16:00 \- 18:30 \- 19:00 Salary: €28,000 \- €30,000 gross/year \+ performance-based variable compensation ### **Pilar de la Horadada \- Alicante** Share this job posting
