At Oasis Backpacker's Hostel, we have the perfect part-time position for you! We are seeking an energetic and extroverted individual to be the heart of our hostel's social life. As the Guest Experience Coordinator, you will be the main friendly face guests encounter upon arrival, the organizer behind our events, and constantly meeting new people from all over the world. Your Responsibilities: * Welcome guests, conduct hostel tours, and make everyone feel at home from the moment they arrive * Plan and organize weekly events \- pub crawls, tapas nights, flamenco outings, communal dinners, and walking tours * Keep common areas lively and sociable; encourage conversation among guests who might otherwise stay in their bunks * Collect informal guest feedback during their stay and submit weekly activity reports to management * Track event attendance and guest satisfaction levels; propose new activities based on guest reactions * Collaborate with local businesses (restaurants, tour guides, bars) to offer unique experiences to guests * Handle basic logistics: reserve supplies, manage sign-up lists, and coordinate schedules with reception Who We Are Looking For: * A person with strong interpersonal skills who genuinely enjoys striking up conversations with strangers * Fluent Spanish, good command of English; any additional language is a plus * Hospitality, event planning, youth work, or tourism industry experience is valued but not essential * Sufficient organizational ability to run an event and enough flexibility to improvise when needed * Capable of writing brief reports and summarizing feedback clearly * Passion for Granada \- you should enjoy showing it to the world If you are interested in this position, please contact our management team at rhys@hostelsoasis.com.
