Job Summary: Ros Roca S.A. is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to design, develop, and validate electrical schematics and wiring systems using CAD tools, ensuring regulatory compliance. Ros Roca S.A., a company belonging to Terberg Environmental Holding BV, dedicated to the manufacturing and marketing of waste collection equipment, requires reinforcement of its Engineering team and is therefore looking to fill the following position: ### **Electrical Design Engineer** **Responsibilities** * Design, develop, and validate electrical schematics and wiring/harness systems using electrical CAD tools (Zuken E3\. series), ensuring compliance with technical, regulatory, quality, and manufacturing requirements for industrial vehicle or machinery projects (e.g., waste collection trucks). **️****What will you do in this role? (Not sure if this section could be simplified somehow)** * Design of electrical, functional, and detailed schematics for power circuits, both high- and low-voltage, control, communications, etc. * Development of wiring harnesses in 2D / Formboard: * + definition of connectors, terminals, protections, splices, and routing. + generation of terminal\-cable lists, BOMs, control specifications, and other manufacturing documentation. * Technical validation of the design: * + electrical review (voltage drops, protections, cross-sections), + compliance with internal design standards, and + compliance with regulatory standards such as EN 60204\-1, EN 1501, etc. * Support to: * + Wiring suppliers (Derogation, Concession/Deviation, etc.) + Production / Quality (assembly, quality claims, PPAP, etc.). + Purchasing (selection/validation of alternative components). + Service (field problem resolution, retrofits). * Collaboration with mechanical engineering for wiring integration. * Definition of eBOMs (engineering bill of materials) **What are we looking for?** * Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Electronics and Automation Engineering or another engineering discipline with an electrical focus (e.g., Electrical Industrial Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, etc.) * Minimum English language proficiency (spoken and written): B1 – C2 preferred\. * Recommended experience of 3\-5 years in electrical schematic and/or wiring design. * Valuable experience in industrial vehicles/mobile machinery environments, CAN systems, etc. * Valuable prior experience in wiring design using Zuken E3 and/or Vesys/Capital Harness, Catia Electrical, EPLAN * Valuable prior experience in mechanical CAD solutions for 3D wiring design (e.g., Solid Edge Electrical, etc.) We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills, problem-solving ability, and good organizational capacity. **What do we offer?** * Stable employment in an international, dynamic, and continuously technologically evolving environment. * Competitive, performance-linked remuneration. * Attractive flexible compensation package. * Professional development support through continuous training programs to ensure optimal technical and skill-based competence.
