We are seeking to hire a **DOCUMENT CONTROL AND QUALITY TECHNICIAN** to participate in a major industrial reconstruction project within the Oil\&Gas sector, located in Cartagena. **What responsibilities would you have?** * Study, review, and analyze technical documentation related to project spare parts. * Manage interchangeability lists for spare parts corresponding to dynamic equipment, metallurgy, electrical, and instrumentation disciplines. * Verify correct identification, classification, and documentary traceability of spare parts. * Ensure technical material information is consistent with specifications, manufacturer documentation, and maintenance requirements. * Review spare parts coding in the warehouse and verify available stock. * Identify procurement needs and prepare purchase requisitions for the Procurement Department. * Issue coding sheets for new spare parts. * Manage modifications, updates, and corrections to material codes. * Analyze and propose minimum stock levels where necessary. * Maintain up-to-date records, databases, and associated spare parts documentation. * Detect errors, duplicates, inconsistencies, or deviations in material documentation and coding. * Coordinate with Engineering, Maintenance, Procurement, Warehouse, Construction, and Quality departments. * Prepare progress reports on the status of documentation, coding, availability, and procurement of spare parts. * Provide documentary and technical support during installation, commissioning, and start-up phases. **What can we offer?** * Participation in a major industrial reconstruction project within the Oil\&Gas sector. * Project duration scheduled from September to December. * Contract through IDEA. * On-site work in Cartagena. * Integration into a multidisciplinary technical team. * Competitive salary commensurate with experience and expertise. REQUIREMENTS **Mandatory Requirements** * Experience in document management, spare parts/material coding, or control. * Experience in refineries, petrochemical plants, energy facilities, or process plants. * Knowledge of spare parts for dynamic equipment, metallurgy, electrical systems, and instrumentation. * Ability to interpret interchangeability lists, manufacturer manuals, data sheets, and technical documentation. * Experience in warehouse management, stock verification, and purchase requisitioning. * Experience or knowledge of mechanical\-metallurgical installation, commissioning, and start-up activities. * Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. * Organizational skills, analytical ability, and attention to detail. * Availability to work on-site in Cartagena. * Valid documentation and work permit in Spain. **Desirable Requirements** * Technical education in Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, Mechanics, Electricity, Instrumentation, or related fields. * Experience in document quality management, traceability, and material control. * Proficiency in SAP or other ERP systems for material management. * Knowledge of stock management, criticality assessment, and minimum spare parts levels. * Technical English for interpreting documentation and manufacturer manuals.
