Join us as a Debt Collection Agent! Debt Collection Agents are professionals responsible for managing the repayment of debts customers have incurred with the company. In our expansion, we require a Collections Manager whose responsibilities include managing and liaising with customers who are overdue. Key responsibilities include: 1\. Maintain timely and direct communication with customers to establish payment agreements and resolve any questions or concerns they may have. 2\. Offer flexible payment options beneficial to both the company and the customer to facilitate the collection process. 3\. Plan routes and manage work schedules to ensure efficient management of the customer portfolio. 4\. Continuously follow up with customers to support them throughout the payment process and ensure compliance with agreed terms. 5\. Guide customers on matters related to their debt, providing clear and accurate information regarding amounts, deadlines, and available payment methods. The Debt Collection Agent must possess basic user-level knowledge of the Internet, spreadsheets, word processing software, and email. Strong communication and negotiation skills are essential. This is an on-site position; prior experience as a field-based collections specialist and in customer service is important.
