Do you have experience as a kitchen assistant or cook? At allsun Hotels, we are looking to hire kitchen assistants and cooks for one of our hotels in Fuerteventura. The Cook is responsible for preparing and presenting dishes in accordance with the restaurant’s standards and recipes. They ensure that all food is prepared safely and efficiently while maintaining high levels of hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen. What will your responsibilities be? \- Prepare and cook food according to the restaurant’s recipes and standards. \- Monitor and manage food inventory and other kitchen supplies, verifying their quality; otherwise, report to the head chef regarding the need for restocking. \- Ensure dishes are presented attractively and meet the restaurant’s quality standards. \- Maintain high levels of hygiene and cleanliness in the workplace, complying with food safety regulations and food handling procedures. \- Monitor and manage food inventory and other kitchen supplies. \- Collaborate with other kitchen team members to ensure efficient and timely service, and participate in meetings and training sessions as required. What are we looking for? \- Previous experience in similar positions (hotels, restaurants, etc.). \- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
