**Description:** ---------------- **ABBA Hotel Garden** is seeking a talented and committed **COOK** to join our culinary team. We are looking for a person who not only possesses exceptional culinary skills but also demonstrates a strong sense of responsibility and a proactive approach to meeting the standards of our hotel chain. **Responsibilities:** * Efficiently prepare and control all assigned culinary preparations. * Monitor products and inventory, ensuring appropriate usage and minimizing waste. * Inform supervisors of any need for ingredients or materials required for assigned preparations. * Comply with the hotel chain's standards and ensure their implementation in all daily activities. * Maintain and keep work facilities and equipment in optimal condition. * Comply with HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) regulations. * Complete the HACCP records corresponding to one's own preparations and assigned shift. * Assist in cleaning, garbage collection, and recycling of all waste generated in the kitchen. * Conduct end-of-shift checks to ensure gas is turned off, lights and hood are switched off, and refrigerators are closed. **We offer:** * Start date at the end of August. * Fixed-discontinuous contract. * Full-time schedule of 40 hours per week. * Approximate working hours: Morning shift, Afternoon shift, Split shift. * A dynamic and professional work environment within a renowned hotel chain. * Opportunities for professional development and growth. * Compensation according to the applicable collective agreement. **Requirements:** --------------- * Minimum two years’ prior experience in a similar position. * Training in Hospitality/Culinary Arts will be valued. * Solid knowledge of culinary techniques and dish preparation. * Familiarity with HACCP standards and their application in the workplace. * Ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with other staff members. * Commitment to hygiene and food safety. * Capacity to manage multiple tasks efficiently and effectively.
