**About the Project:**
This is a highly significant railway project for ADIF, focused on the execution and/or renovation of railway stations. The project represents a major milestone in regional transport infrastructure development and offers the chance to participate in a technically complex and stimulating environment.
**Key Responsibilities:**
As Civil Works Manager, your main duties will include, among others:
* **Planning and Organization:** Develop and supervise the civil works execution plan, ensuring adherence to deadlines, budget, and established quality standards.
* **Team Management:** Lead, coordinate, and motivate work teams—including both internal staff and subcontractors—fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
* **Execution Control:** Continuously monitor civil works progress, guaranteeing proper application of technical specifications and current regulations.
* **Resource Management:** Efficiently administer material, human, and machinery resources assigned to the project.
* **Health and Safety:** Implement and ensure strict compliance with occupational health and safety regulations throughout all phases of the project.
* **Quality Control:** Ensure material and workmanship quality through necessary inspections and tests.
* **Stakeholder Relations:** Maintain smooth and professional communication with the client (ADIF), site management, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
* **Risk Management:** Identify, assess, and propose mitigation measures for project-related risks.
* **Documentation and Reporting:** Prepare and maintain up-to-date technical and administrative project documentation, including progress reports, daily logs, and certifications.
* **Incident Resolution:** Proactively address and resolve any technical or scheduling issues arising during project execution.
**Job Requirements:**
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:
* **Education:** Higher Technician or Intermediate Technician qualification in Civil Works, or equivalent degree.
* **General Experience:** Minimum of 5 years’ general experience in the civil works sector.
* **Specific Experience:** Minimum of 2 years’ specific experience in railway construction and/or supervision, with particular emphasis on station construction or renovation projects.
* **Technical Knowledge:** Solid expertise in civil works construction techniques, railway and safety regulations, and project management tools.
* **Competencies:** Leadership, organizational and planning skills, communication and negotiation abilities, results orientation, problem-solving capability, proactivity, and autonomy.
* **Languages:** Foreign language proficiency is considered a plus.
* **Availability:** Willingness to work in Valladolid.
