Description
A leading company in tax, legal, and commercial advisory services, located in Barcelona, is seeking an Accountant.
Responsibilities:
* Manage general accounting\- Record transactions and journal entries to complete the full accounting cycle for commercial companies.
* Account for collections, payments, and bank movements, performing corresponding reconciliations.
* Prepare periodic closings and the annual accounting and tax closing.
* Prepare accounting reports and handle inquiries regarding the routine operations of companies.
* Prepare and file periodic tax returns: VAT, Personal Income Tax (IRPF), Form 347, rental withholdings, and other tax forms.
* Prepare Corporate Income Tax returns and Annual Financial Statements.
* Collaborate in teams to resolve client inquiries.
* Ensure compliance with current regulations and internal accounting policies, proposing process improvements where necessary.
Required skills and knowledge:
* Degree or qualification in Business Administration and Management, Economics, Higher-Level Administrative Cycle, or equivalent.
* Minimum 2–3 years of experience in accounting tasks; experience in tax matters is highly valued.
* Proficiency in Catalan and Spanish.
