Job Summary: We are seeking a 2nd Chef to support the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations, ensuring service execution and dish quality. Key Highlights: 1. At our restaurant **Smooth Gastro Bar**, we are looking for a **2nd Chef** to support the Head Chef in the daily management of the kitchen, guaranteeing proper service execution, dish quality, and smooth team operation. **Main Responsibilities** * Direct support to the Head Chef in organizing and supervising service. * Coordination of the kitchen team in the absence of the Head Chef. * Preparation and supervision of dishes according to restaurant standards. * Control of food stations, daily production, and mise en place. * Compliance with and supervision of hygiene, food safety, and HACCP regulations. * Quality control, presentation, and service timing. * Collaboration in training the kitchen team. * Support in order management, stock control, and waste reduction. **What We Are Looking For** * Minimum **2–3 years’ experience** as a 2nd Chef or Cook with responsibilities. * Culinary or hospitality training. * Leadership, organizational, and teamwork skills. * Ability to work efficiently under pressure and commitment to quality. * Advanced knowledge of hot stations and grilling. // **We Offer** * **Stable position**, with **immediate start**. * Full-time schedule. * Professional category: 2nd Chef. * Split shifts. * **Compensation: €25,000 gross per year.** * Opportunity for stable employment within an **expanding hospitality group**. * Real possibilities for **professional growth and development** within the group. * **Positive working environment**. **Location:** Smooth Gastro Bar (Camino de los Silos, 18, 500016, Zaragoza).
