We are seeking a Program Technical Manager – Radar Systems to participate in strategic Defense programs, acting as the project’s technical reference and contributing to the definition and evolution of complex solutions associated with next-generation radar systems. The selected candidate will play a key role in technical decision-making, ensuring the balance among performance, cost, schedule, risks, and industrialization throughout the product lifecycle. **Location:** Torrejón de Ardoz What will you do? * Lead the program technically, serving as the engineering reference for customers, industrial partners, and internal teams. * Define and evolve the system architecture and its main subsystems. * Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams within a matrix environment. * Ensure compliance with technical, regulatory, certification, and security requirements. * Supervise integration of hardware, software, and embedded systems technologies. * Manage technical risks and define mitigation plans. * Lead configuration management, change control, and resolution of critical incidents. * Participate in the program’s technical planning by defining milestones, deliverables, and acceptance criteria. * Collaborate with Engineering, Program Management, Production, Quality, Procurement, and ISS to ensure the technical success of the solution. * Act as the technical liaison for customers, certification bodies, suppliers, and strategic partners. What are we looking for in you? **✅ Education:** Telecommunications Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. **✅ Minimum Experience:** 5–10 years of experience in systems engineering, integration of complex systems, or technical leadership of technology programs. **✅ Technical Knowledge:** * Systems engineering and architecture of complex systems. * Integration of multidisciplinary systems. * Product lifecycle management. * Requirements management and traceability. * Requirements management tools (DOORS). * Configuration management and change control. * UML and object-oriented design. * Technical program management and tracking. * Hardware, software, and embedded systems environments. * Knowledge of sensors, radar, or defense electronic systems (desirable). * PLM tools such as Windchill (desirable). * Basic Python knowledge (desirable). **✅ Valuable Functional Knowledge:** * Defense programs or critical systems. * System architecture and solutions. * Coordination of technical reviews (SDR, PDR, CDR). * Technical risk management. * ILS and configuration control. * Aerospace regulations and standards such as DO\-178, DO\-254 or equivalents. * Industrialization and transition to production. **✅ Key Competencies:** * Technical leadership. * Holistic system vision. * Ability to influence in matrix environments. * Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams. * Communication and negotiation skills. * Analytical thinking and resolution of complex problems. * Results orientation and goal achievement. **✅ Languages:** * Advanced English is mandatory (minimum B2 level; C1 is desirable). **✅ Other Requirements:** * Ability to obtain or already hold Personal Security Clearance (HPS).
