Requirements * Minimum 5 years of experience in alignment design. * Experience in transportation infrastructure projects in the United States. * Experience in geometric design of highways, main roads, interchanges, among others. * Knowledge of AASHTO standards or standards from any U.S. state. * Proficiency in MicroStation and OpenRoads/InRoads. * Experience with highway design specialties, surveyors, and BIM modelers. * English level B1\+. Location * 100% on\-site in Spain. ###### **OpenRoads** ###### **MicroStation** ###### **American Alignment Standards (Georgia)** ###### **Technical Knowledge** ###### **English** #### **Principal Duties** * Prepare, review, and optimize geometric designs for highways, roads, and linear infrastructure during different engineering phases. * Apply design criteria according to American standards (Georgia DOT) and applicable international standards. * Generate digital terrain models, longitudinal profiles, cross sections, and construction drawings. * Develop 3D alignment models using OpenRoads and MicroStation, ensuring geometric accuracy and consistency. * Integrate alignment models with structures, drainage, utilities, geotechnical, and environmental disciplines. * Identify and resolve technical interferences between multidisciplinary models. * Ensure the technical and documentary quality of alignment deliverables. * Support the review of drawings, technical reports, and specifications during different project phases. * Provide technical support to engineering teams during design execution and review. * Participate in coordination meetings and technical design reviews. * Prepare reports, technical memoranda, and progress reports. * Collaborate with international teams and adapt to English\-speaking work environments. * Perform other duties inherent to the position. **Why join DAPIN?** ------------------- * You will be part of a global community of professionals passionate about engineering, innovation, and large\-scale change.
