We are seeking personnel to handle packaged food products under chilled and frozen conditions in the municipalities of Palau\-solità i Plegamans and Santa Perpètua de Mogoda. Main responsibilities include careful handling of products to ensure their integrity and compliance with food safety regulations. This role is essential within the supply chain, contributing to the proper distribution of perishable goods from the warehouse to their final destination. Specific tasks include order preparation via picking, precise labeling of goods for identification and traceability, and operation of equipment such as electric pallet trucks, counterbalanced forklifts, or reach trucks. Use of warehouse management systems—including radio frequency, voice-directed devices, and PDA terminals—for inventory control is also required. Part of the role involves verifying product expiry dates, production batches, and variable weights, ensuring full compliance with established standards. The work environment demands rigor and attention to detail, especially when handling temperature-sensitive products. Strict adherence to personal and product hygiene and safety standards is mandatory. The position requires a methodical and organized individual capable of teamwork and adaptation to the varying activity rhythms typical of a logistics warehouse. Operations run on rotating shifts covering all 24 hours of the day, ensuring operational continuity. Proven prior experience in goods handling, order preparation (picking), and labeling is required. Prior experience working in chilled and frozen environments will be considered favorably. Knowledge and experience operating equipment such as stackers and onboard pallet trucks are necessary. Practical knowledge of warehouse management systems—including radio frequency, PDAs (Personal Digital Assistants), and voice-directed systems—is also required. The ideal candidate must be punctual, organized, and meticulous, with strong attention to detail. A proactive attitude, initiative, willingness to work, and flexibility to adapt to various shifts and perform overtime when operations require it are essential.
