The Retractable Forklift Operator position is located within a logistics warehouse environment, focusing on goods handling, organization, and order preparation. Key responsibilities include the safe and efficient operation of retractable forklifts for loading, unloading, and transporting materials within the facility. Additionally, the professional will be responsible for order picking using PDA devices, ensuring accuracy in product selection according to received orders. As part of the warehouse assistant team, they will also participate in inventory organization, labeling, and maintaining order and cleanliness in work areas. This role is essential to ensure smooth daily operations and achievement of the company's established productivity and quality goals. The work environment is dynamic and requires a proactive attitude, ability to work in a team, and adaptability to established safety and logistics procedures. The position directly contributes to the supply chain by optimizing delivery times and managing available stock. Specific training in machinery operation is complemented by practical experience in a large-scale warehouse where precision and safety are paramount values. The operator must integrate into a shift system enabling operational continuity, adapting to scheduled working hours. Working hours total 40 hours per week, distributed across rotating shifts covering the morning shift from 06:00 to 14:00 and the afternoon shift from 14:00 to 22:00. The hourly wage ranges between €11.87 and €12.53, depending on the candidate's verifiable professional experience. Initial employment is for a four-month period, with a defined expectation of permanent integration into the company’s workforce upon successful completion of this probationary period, subject to performance evaluation and compliance. A valid forklift operator license authorizing operation of five types of machinery is required. Demonstrable prior experience operating retractable forklifts in a logistics warehouse environment is mandatory, with a minimum of one year’s tenure. Availability of a personal vehicle for commuting to the workplace is considered a positive asset. No specific formal education is required, although occupational risk prevention training is regarded as an advantage.
