The company operates as both Tier 1 and Tier 2: as a Tier 1 supplier, it provides first-tier systems, subsystems, and finished components directly to vehicle manufacturers. Its corporate culture originates from a family-owned business; today, it is a growing multinational. **Position Description** They seek a candidate to fill a Project Manager role serving Tier 1 customers; the candidate must be proactive and experienced in managing metal-related automotive projects. **Functions and Responsibilities:** MAIN FUNCTIONS: 1\. Ensure feasibility of assigned products to guarantee compliance with internal and customer requirements. 2\. Plan and execute projects according to DEFTA procedures and specific customer requirements, ensuring achievement of quality, cost, and schedule objectives while considering company resources. 3\. Lead and coordinate the assigned project team to ensure achievement of project objectives. 4\. Coordinate with customer project teams—both during bidding phases and throughout assigned projects—to ensure achievement of project objectives. 5\. Regularly report project status to the Project Steering Committee, presenting possible corrective alternatives when necessary. 6\. Analyze customer specifications to ensure compliance, or propose alternatives if non-compliance is identified. 7\. Develop technical product definitions in accordance with customer specifications and company needs—when no dedicated Product Engineer is assigned to the project—to ensure feasibility. 8\. Guarantee timely submission of initial samples meeting required quality standards, in collaboration with the project quality responsible, for customer approval. 9\. Ensure subcontractors involved in the project possess the capability to perform work under required quality conditions, participating in necessary visits and audits. 10\. Guarantee management and dissemination of drawings so they remain accessible to all personnel requiring them. 11\. Participate in analysis of quality incidents identified during the project to define necessary actions for eliminating detected defects. 12\. Participate in identifying improvements and productivity enhancements for company products and/or processes to improve performance and reduce associated costs. QUALITY RESPONSIBILITIES: 1\. Control changes in assigned products and/or projects to ensure proper implementation. 2\. Participate in product and process risk analysis activities—such as FMEA methodologies—to minimize their impact. 3\. Adhere to DEFTA procedures in performing duties to ensure effective execution. 4\.
