Responsibilities: * Select friction materials for projects based on thermal and brake system calculations. * Responsible for all matters related to product application, documentation, and acceptance. * Define product application specifications for improvements or new products. * Responsible for launching new products in customer projects by establishing appropriate validation documentation for sale. * Provide technical support for internal and external claims together with the Customer Service department. * Proactively cooperate with interfacing departments: testing, thermal simulation, material design, prototyping, project management. * Provide technical support to teams to enhance their competencies. * Ensure confidentiality of acquired product "know\-how". * Given the international nature of this position, occasional travel is required. Requirements: * Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. * English proficiency level C1; German is a plus. * Advanced proficiency in Excel and Office. Programming knowledge (VBA) is desirable.
