Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced Electrical and Control Engineer to design, calculate, and supervise electrical and automation systems for industrial and water treatment projects. Key Highlights: 1. Design and calculation of HV/MV/LV electrical systems. 2. Development of control architectures for industrial processes. 3. Participation in the programming and validation of PLCs, DCS, SCADA, and HMI. For new projects in the **construction sector**, we require an **ELECTRICAL AND CONTROL ENGINEER (E\&C)** in Madrid**.** **Scope and Responsibilities:** Engineering during the bidding phase * Technical definition and calculation of electrical and control solutions * Preparation of technical specifications and drawings * Budget and quantity survey preparation * Requesting and analyzing supplier quotations Engineering during the execution phase * Design and calculation of HV/MV/LV electrical systems * Development of: * Single-line diagrams * Layouts of electrical rooms * Control schematics * Sizing of equipment and systems * Technical coordination with other disciplines Project scope * Water treatment plants (WWTP, WTP, desalination, reuse) * Industrial and associated energy plants **Responsibilities:** * Design LV, MV, and HV electrical systems according to project requirements. * Prepare technical specifications, calculation reports, and engineering documentation. * Develop single-line diagrams, electrical schematics, and distribution layouts. * Size transformers, switchgear, motors, variable speed drives, cables, and protection systems. * Conduct electrical studies (short-circuit, protection coordination, load flow, earthing, power quality, etc.). * Supervise installation and testing of electrical equipment. * Design control architectures for industrial processes. * Define and specify field instruments (pressure, temperature, level, flow, analysis, etc.). * Develop instrument lists, data sheets, and loop diagrams. * Participate in the programming, configuration, and validation of PLCs, DCS, SCADA, and HMI. * Implement automation and process optimization strategies. * Perform FAT, SAT, commissioning, and start-up of control systems. **Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering. * Design of MV and LV electrical installations * Design of automation, control, and instrumentation systems * Electrical calculation software * Cost estimation (Presto or similar) * Minimum 5 years’ experience in: * Electrical and control equipment engineering * Industrial or water treatment projects * Projects of significant scale (>€5M) **Preferred Qualifications:** * Experience working in a BIM environment * Specific software (CANECO, DIALUX) * PMI certification * Cross-disciplinary knowledge of mechanical equipment Languages: * English B2 **Work Location:** * Madrid * Availability for short-term travel (1–7 days), both nationally and internationally **Offer:** * Immediate hiring * Permanent contract
