Cybersecurity Technician

If there is one thing that drives and inspires us at Telpark, it is talent. **Job Mission** ===================== Provide operational support in protecting Telpark’s systems, networks, and technological infrastructure, contributing to the prevention, detection, and response to security incidents under the supervision of the Cybersecurity Specialist. **Functions and Responsibilities** ================================= * Monitor security events through SIEM, EDR, and other detection systems. * Manage security alerts by performing initial analysis, classification, and escalation when necessary. * Participate in cybersecurity incident response, including containment, basic analysis, and documentation. * Perform operational hardening tasks on systems, networks, and endpoints. * Collaborate on vulnerability management: scanning, analysis of results, and tracking remediation efforts. * Support implementation and maintenance of security controls (firewalls, antivirus, access control, etc.). * Review logs and conduct basic analysis of potential threats or anomalous behavior. * Document procedures, incidents, and security-related activities. * Collaborate with other IT teams (infrastructure, networking, workplace) to ensure compliance with security policies. * Support internal and external cybersecurity audits. **Requirements** ============== ### **Education:** * Intermediate or higher vocational training degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related field. * Specialized cybersecurity training is a plus. **Experience:** * 1\-3 years in IT roles, preferably with exposure to information security. * Basic experience in security monitoring or system/network administration. ### **Technical Knowledge** * Operating systems: Windows and Linux (basic\-intermediate level). * Networking: TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, firewalls. * Security tools: SIEM, antivirus/EDR, vulnerability scanners. * Cybersecurity concepts: malware, phishing, identity management, access control. * Log management and basic event analysis. ### **Competencies** * Attention to detail and analytical ability. * Proactivity and orientation toward continuous improvement. * Teamwork capability. * Organization and prioritization skills. * Interest in continuous learning in cybersecurity. ### **Desirable** * Certifications: CompTIA Security\+, CEH, Cisco CyberOps, or similar. * Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (ISO 27001, ENS, NIST). * Experience in cloud environments (Azure, AWS). * Basic scripting knowledge (PowerShell, Python).
