Description

The baker position requires professionals with experience and demonstrable knowledge in various key processes of artisanal bread-making. This includes managing slow fermentation, applying cold rests to improve dough structure, and expert handling of sourdough starter. The hired person will be responsible for the full production of bakery items and may also participate in pastry tasks, always following artisanal processes that reflect deep respect for raw materials and the final product. Attention to detail, passion for traditional craftsmanship, and the ability to work in a workshop environment are essential for this role. Work takes place in an environment that values quality, artisanal technique, and contribution to a team dedicated to producing exceptional bread. Daily responsibilities range from dough preparation to baking, ensuring each product meets established standards. This role is ideal for someone who appreciates the science behind baking and enjoys the creative and methodical process of transforming basic ingredients into high-quality finished products. Consistency and the ability to replicate processes are key to success in this position, which forms an integral part of the establishment's daily operations. The offered contract is temporary, with the possibility of becoming indefinite based on performance and company needs. Working hours are full-time, scheduled from 7:00 to 15:00. The work regime covers Monday through Sunday, with a rotating rest system where six consecutive days are worked and two days are off. To compensate for the additional working day, there will be periods during which five days are worked and three days are off. The annual gross remuneration is set at €23,650. The workplace is located in the Villaverde Alto district. It is mandatory to hold a valid Disability Certificate with a degree equal to or greater than 33 percent. Prior experience of at least one year working in an artisanal workshop is required. Having a personal vehicle for mobility is highly desirable. Legal work authorization is mandatory for employment. No specific formal education is required, but practical knowledge acquired—such as that of a baker's assistant—is valued.
