Job Summary: We are seeking a hybrid AI Engineer to design and implement ML and AI agent solutions, transforming Verti with a Data Product mindset and multidisciplinary collaboration. MARIA TUBAU, 10 We are looking for an AI Engineer for a hybrid role capable of building ML models as well as AI agents. The goal is end-to-end design and implementation of solutions that can transform Verti, with a Data Product orientation, strong ability to engage with business areas, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. **JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (KEY FUNCTIONS)** Design and propose ML, generative AI, and AI agent solutions to help Verti's customer area achieve its objectives. Design AI agents, considering technical feasibility and business impact in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams (Data Engineers, UX, Data Scientists, Analysts, Business). Build AI agents that deliver real impact, autonomously solve problems, and integrate with enterprise systems. Develop and measure ML models in production. Track business impact and analyze technical metrics to define and implement improvements. Be part of Verti's leading team in generative AI and AI agents. Act as an interface between business and technical teams. **EDUCATION AND REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE** Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, or related technical fields. Specialized education in Data Science is a plus. Solid understanding of AI/ML, generative AI, and AI agent concepts. Programming language: Python. Prior experience building models using advanced techniques and handling highly complex, large-volume datasets. Experience with AI agent solutions/frameworks such as LangGraph (or similar) or Copilot Studio is a plus. Prior experience working with agile methodologies. Communication skills to interact effectively with non-technical teams. **PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED** Minimum 2 years of experience in developing, training, deploying, and measuring ML projects. Minimum 1 year of experience implementing generative AI solutions. Experience in developing AI agents.
