Systems Technician - Systems and Network Administrator

Description

The ideal candidate must have extensive experience resolving diverse hardware and software issues. They should feel comfortable providing technological solutions to employees and collaborating closely with third-party software companies to adopt new technologies and efficiently utilize existing ones. This candidate must have prior, demonstrable experience in ICT and understand the latest technological trends to ensure implemented technology remains up to date. Responsibilities: \- On-site technical support for incidents involving equipment and servers (Windows, Linux, and Mac). \- Support for office productivity tools, Lotus, and Microsoft Office 365\. \- On-site technical support for network electronics, firewalls, etc. \- Support for telephone system and CCTV incidents. \- Telephone support, technical incident resolution, operating system restoration, driver installation, and general software review. \- Repair of hardware and software faults on desktops, laptops, and servers. \- Installation and configuration of peripherals and accessories (printers, scanners) as well as network components. \- Responding to user technical calls/incidents, escalating to other support levels when necessary, and following up to closure with the user once resolved. Minimum Requirements: \- Three years of experience in companies within this sector. · Networking training is mandatory, including HP switching and CISCO. · Experience with Firewall/UTM: Fortinet, Cisco. · Experience with VoIP: Siemens\-Unify. · Advanced knowledge of Windows Server across its various versions, plus Windows 7 and Windows 10\. · Personal vehicle is mandatory (kilometer reimbursement provided). · Willingness to travel.
