Production Manager

Description

We are seeking a **Production Manager** to lead and optimize our adhesive and sealant manufacturing plant. The selected candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising all production activities, ensuring process efficiency, on-time delivery, and maximum customer service orientation. * **Production planning and management**, aligned with demand and customer orders. * **Daily supervision of plant operations**, ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and productivity standards. * **Coordination with commercial and logistics departments**, to guarantee customer service levels. * **Inventory management** of raw materials and finished goods, optimizing stock levels and preventing stockouts or overstocking. * **Management of production teams**, including shift scheduling, training, motivation, and staff performance evaluation. * Ensure compliance with regulations regarding quality, environment, and occupational health and safety (OH&S). **Requirements** * Degree in Industrial Engineering, Chemistry, or related field. * Prior experience in a similar role; experience in the chemical, adhesives, paints, or related sectors is highly desirable. * Knowledge of production planning and inventory management. * Experience in **operational team management**. * Results-oriented profile with strong **customer focus**. * Leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills. * Proficiency with ERP systems and Excel. **Preferred qualifications** * Experience with continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean Manufacturing, 5S). * Specific knowledge of adhesive, sealant, or chemical manufacturing processes. * Technical English proficiency.
