Job Summary: A senior residential care facility is seeking a nursing assistant / geriatric caregiver to cover a vacation replacement period, with a real possibility of permanent incorporation into the staff and responsibilities including resident care, support, and monitoring, as well as night shifts and cleaning duties. A senior residential care facility seeks to hire a **nursing assistant / geriatric caregiver** to cover a **vacation replacement period (8–9 months)**, with a **real possibility of permanent incorporation into the staff** upon contract completion, subject to performance evaluation. **Responsibilities:** * Providing care and attention to residents. * Supporting residents with basic daily activities (hygiene, feeding, mobility, etc.). * Monitoring and tracking residents’ general health status. **IMPORTANT – Additional responsibilities during the replacement period:** * **Coverage of night shifts**, performing all standard duties of the position during nighttime hours. * **Performing cleaning tasks**, as this role will also cover the vacation period of the cleaning staff. * This includes cleaning facilities, resident rooms, and common areas as required by the center. **Employment Conditions:** * Temporary contract for vacation replacement (8–9 months). * **Possibility of stable, permanent incorporation into the staff** upon completion of the replacement period. * Rotating shifts (day and night). * Work schedule based on a **“long week / short week” system**: * Week 1: Monday, Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday * Week 2: Tuesday, Thursday, Friday **Requirements:** * Qualification in **nursing assistance, sociosanitary care, or equivalent**. * Prior experience in residential care facilities will be valued. * **Availability to work night shifts and perform cleaning tasks.** * Responsible, versatile, and positive individual. **We Offer:** * Job stability with a real opportunity for continuity. * Positive and supportive work environment. * Comprehensive and versatile experience within the sociosanitary field. **Interested candidates:** Send CV to direccio.vilanova@vidasenior.cat or contact 682 603 308 Job Type: Full-time Work Location: On-site
