We aim to hire a Naval Inspector to carry out inspection, certification, training, advisory and/or technical assistance for shipowners, shipbuilders, shipyards, equipment manufacturers, insurers, banks, and flag states—whether for new constructions, vessels in service, and/or materials or equipment. What will be your main responsibilities? * Inspection of vessels in service according to Bureau Veritas Regulations * Inspection of vessels in service according to International Maritime Conventions (SOLAS, MARPOL, LOAD LINE, etc.) * Inspection of marine materials and equipment What will make you succeed in this role? * Prior experience as an inspector of vessels in service, within a multidisciplinary international environment, as well as experience in marine repairs, in the Production Department of shipyards or the Technical Department of shipping companies. * In-depth technical expertise in areas such as welding, marine machinery, electricity, automation, etc. * Training in Occupational Health and Safety * Training in Management System Audit Techniques (ISO, ISM, ISPS, etc.) Requirements: * Bachelor’s Degree in Naval Engineering or Marine Machinery Engineering * Very high level of English proficiency. * Valid driver’s license * *At Bureau Veritas, we offer equal opportunities.
