**LOCATION: Madrid (headquarters)** **JOB MISSION:** Maintain facilities in good condition and ensure their proper functionality. Perform maintenance on MPDL facilities/headquarters in Madrid and on program apartments: assembly, adjustment, inspection, conditioning, and repair of facilities. **SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES** * Prevent and resolve malfunctions affecting headquarters, centers, and apartments. * Carry out a wide variety of maintenance tasks, such as painting, repairs, minor construction work, and furniture assembly, etc. * Inspect buildings and headquarters to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. * Maintain and repair electrical systems (e.g., replacing light bulbs and sockets, cables, etc.). * Perform manual repairs when necessary (e.g., fixing locks, replacing windows, etc.). * Carry out general maintenance procedures and other tasks (painting, carpentry, minor construction work, etc.). * Assist in preparing budgets. * Perform scheduled inspections of machinery/facilities (e.g., reading indicators, inspecting machines, etc.). * Perform scheduled cleaning and maintenance of machinery and facilities (collaborating with cleaning staff for machinery and other items under their responsibility; periodically replacing or replenishing parts or components (e.g., air-conditioning filters)). * Repair malfunctions in facilities, machinery, and office furniture. * Coordinate and manage repairs and construction works. * Install new elements (e.g., furniture assembly, minor electrical or plumbing installations). Support users’ arrival at the Program (purchasing, accompaniment, device setup, supply procurement, etc.). * As staff of the Movement for Peace \-MPDL\-, comply with and respect the Code of Conduct and all policies related to any form of abuse and harassment. * Participate in actions aimed at preventing abuse and harassment. Also, follow instructions for implementing the Code of Conduct and other organizational regulations/protocols. JOB PROFILE * **EDUCATION**: Compulsory Secondary Education (ESO) or equivalent basic vocational training, complemented by medium-level vocational training or professional experience. A maintenance certification will be valued. * **EXPERIENCE**: Demonstrable experience of at least 1 year. Basic knowledge of electrical systems. Familiarity with general maintenance methods and processes, professional knowledge of tools, as well as common devices and equipment. * **LANGUAGES**: Proficiency in Spanish is essential. Knowledge of other languages will be highly valued. * **COMPUTER SKILLS**: Basic Office software knowledge is desirable. * **OTHERS**: Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle required. Autonomy in performing duties, professional seriousness, willingness to work across various centers. Manual dexterity and ability to resolve incidents. Flexibility in working hours is important to address possible emergencies and unforeseen events. Immediate incorporation. * **WORK SCHEDULE**: **37.5 hours per week**, Monday to Friday. * **SALARY**: As stipulated in the applicable collective agreement.
