Description

We are seeking 3 gardening technicians for a Special Employment Centre in Vilanova i la Geltrú. Main responsibilities include organizing, planning, directing and carrying out gardening tasks; supervising the assigned team’s activities; and supporting the socio-labor integration of persons with disabilities. Candidates must hold a Medium-Level Vocational Training Certificate (CFGM) in Gardening and Floristry, or any other Medium-Level Vocational Training Certificate (CFGM) within the Agricultural Activities professional family; alternatively, a Level 2 Professional Certificate (C.P.) AGAO0208 – Installation and Maintenance of Gardens and Green Areas. A valid driving license type B is mandatory, as well as a Catalan language proficiency certificate at level B2 (or demonstrated ability to understand and speak Catalan orally), and a Spanish language proficiency certificate at level C2, in case of non-Spanish nationality. Prior experience in the sector, a Basic-level Phytosanitary Products Applicator License, and complementary training related to gardening will be considered advantageous. The position offers a 6-month temporary contract on a full-time basis, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 7:00 to 15:00. Remuneration amounts to a gross monthly salary of €1,735.56, paid in 14 annual installments. Main job-related responsibilities: \- Organize, plan, coordinate, direct and execute gardening tasks assigned to the team \- Ensure compliance with tasks specified in work orders \- Supervise and monitor tasks performed by team members, ensuring work quality and adherence to deadlines Support tasks for persons with disabilities or functional diversity: \- Provide necessary support to facilitate optimal socio-labor adaptation of workers \- Ensure appropriate personal appearance, including clothing and hygiene \- Apply mentoring and support strategies to facilitate acquisition of new skills \- Encourage and develop practical training for workers with disabilities directly at the workplace \- Monitor the work performance of Special Employment Centre staff and report relevant aspects concerning their professional development to the Production Department \- Observe, prevent, detect and intervene in potential individual or group issues, referring cases to appropriate services or professionals when necessary * 12 months of professional experience. \- Prior professional experience in the sector will be valued. * Medium-Level Vocational Training Qualification * Catalan (intermediate spoken, intermediate written) * Spanish (intermediate spoken, intermediate written) * Competencies / knowledge: \- Hold a Medium-Level Vocational Training Certificate (CFGM) in Gardening and Floristry, or any other Medium-Level Vocational Training Certificate (CFGM) within the Agricultural Activities professional family; alternatively, hold a Level 2 Professional Certificate (C.P.)
