Job Summary: We are seeking a folding machine operator to adjust, operate, and maintain equipment, ensuring the quality and legibility of leaflets. Key Responsibilities: 1. Operation of folding machines for complex folds and microfolds 2. Visual inspection of leaflets and verification of codes 3. Basic preventive maintenance and completion of production reports We require a first-, second-, or third-class folding machine operator: Responsibilities: \- Adjust folding bags, rollers, and guides according to the leaflet format (open/closed dimensions) and required fold type (simple, parallel, cross, etc.). \- Operate folding machines (e.g., Horizon, G\&K, Heidelberg) to achieve complex folds, often microfolds. Visually inspect leaflets to ensure no defects, stains, or poorly executed folds. \- Ensure text remains legible and, in many cases, verify that barcodes or pharmaceutical codes remain correct and legible after folding. \- Load the machine with printed paper sheets and ensure continuous feeding. \- Perform cleaning tasks, roller adjustments, and basic preventive maintenance to avoid downtime. Complete production and quality reports, recording units produced, incidents, and stoppages. Requirements: \- Minimum education: Compulsory Secondary Education (ESO) or equivalent. \- Thorough knowledge of paper folding machines, either in bookbinding or in graphic workshops specializing in pharmaceutical leaflets. \- Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle. Offer: \- Permanent full-time contract. \- Working days: Monday to Friday. \- Rotating morning and afternoon shifts: 06:45–14:30 and 14:30–22:45. Workplace: Casarrubios del Monte.
