**Programming Teacher – Algorithmics L’Eliana** We are looking to hire **programming and new technologies teachers** for our center **Algorithmics L’Eliana**, specialized in technology education for children and adolescents. We seek candidates with technical knowledge, as well as a clear educational vocation and the ability to connect with students of different ages. **Desired Knowledge Areas** It is important to have knowledge in one or more of the following areas: * Python * Unity * Scratch * Roblox * Minecraft * Video game development * Visual programming * New technologies applied to education It is not mandatory to master all these technologies, but it is essential to have a solid programming foundation and the ability to quickly learn new tools and platforms. **Candidate Profile** Since classes are primarily aimed at **children and adolescents**, the following qualities are essential: * Excellent interpersonal skills with children. * Patience and strong communication skills. * Ability to explain technical concepts in simple terms. * Positive and dynamic attitude in the classroom. * Responsibility and punctuality. * Ability to maintain group attention and motivation. * Genuine interest in programming, video games, and technology. Previous experience as a teacher, instructor, trainer, or working with minors will be highly valued. **Schedule** The specific schedule will be determined based on assigned groups and the teacher’s availability. Classes take place during the following time slots: * **Monday to Friday:** between 4:00 PM and 8:30 PM. * **Saturdays:** between 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM. This **does not mean working the entire time slot**. Specific classes will be assigned within these hours, always aiming to adapt the schedule to the teacher’s availability. Whenever possible, we organize groups so that the teacher has **approximately a minimum of 3 teaching hours per day they attend the center**, avoiding travel for only a single class. **Conditions** * **Gross hourly rate of €15.** * Hourly-based compensation system. * **Fixed-term discontinuous contract.** * Academic year runs from **October to June, inclusive**. * Possibility to increase teaching hours depending on availability, opening of new groups, and center growth. We seek individuals who enjoy teaching technology and who can help students learn programming while having fun and staying engaged.
