Description

The BMS (Building Management System) Commissioning Technician is responsible for collaborating with the commissioning team to deliver a fully operational and high-quality BMS system to the client. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of building automation and service technologies as part of our growing team in Zaragoza. A company laptop and mobile phone will be provided. Main Responsibilities Perform installation checks on BMS components and control panels. Verify and test all input/output (I/O) signals together with the site team. Collaborate with contractors to ensure third-party work progresses as planned. Complete daily project progress reports and generate snag lists when necessary. Coordinate with external vendors to ensure seamless system integration. Maintain up-to-date documentation and communicate changes to the project team. Work with site teams to ensure proper closure of all outstanding items. Prepare daily/weekly site safety documentation. Conduct site acceptance tests (SAT). Requirements / Qualifications Higher degree in electricity, automation, or equivalent experience. Previous experience in commissioning or a similar role within the BMS or construction sector. Solid knowledge of the technical aspects of BMS products and services, ideally with experience in some of the following systems: Tridium (N4\), Allen Bradley, Siemens, Distech, Trend. Good understanding of electrical and electronic systems applied to the BMS sector. Knowledge of mechanical systems, especially in HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning). Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
