Job Description At Sopra Steria, we are expanding our Cloud Engineering team, which will form part of our **Cloud Center of Excellence**. **What challenge do we propose?** Resolve undocumented issues within the area and serve as the technical reference for the squad. Administer and evolve the area’s cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes clusters. Design and maintain the team’s Terraform modules and Ansible roles. Design the area’s deployment pipelines and their quality controls. Train and support L2A and L1B profiles within the squad. Address root causes of recurring incidents to prevent recurrence. Record activities in ServiceNow and keep the CMDB accurate and up to date. Participate in on-call rotations when assigned to the relevant area. Requirements Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Cloud, DevOps, or SRE engineer in production environments, having served as the technical reference for a team. * Cloud: Azure as primary provider, AWS in scope—compute, networking (VPC/VNet), IAM, storage, load balancing, and managed services. * Kubernetes and containers: EKS and AKS, Helm, cluster deployment and operations. * Infrastructure as Code: Terraform (mandatory) and Ansible. * Cloud observability and security applied to operations. * Operations under Service Level Agreements (SLAs), with logging in ServiceNow. Essential certification: at least one Associate-level certification from a hyperscaler; CKA is highly valued.
