Order management, inventory control, and food preservation Ocean Club Maspalomas is looking to hire a professional Chef: Minimum Requirements: \- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position \- Experience in operational kitchen control \- Minimum education: Medium or Higher Vocational Training in Culinary Arts or equivalent \- Leadership skills to motivate and manage work teams, empathy, organization, and efficiency under pressure \- Strong professional references \- Academic Qualification: Higher Vocational Training in Hospitality and Catering \- Specific Training: Valid Food Handler Certificate, Food Safety and Hygiene Certification Job Responsibilities: \- Development of menus and dishes aligned with assigned station and established quality standards \- Maintenance of cleanliness and order in the workstation and throughout the kitchen \- Preparation of recipe costings and inventories, order management, and supplier coordination \- Proper storage and organization of raw materials and food preservation \- Execution of core kitchen duties and APPCC (HACCP) control Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent Contract Salary: €1,400.00–€1,600.00 per month Benefits: * Flexible working hours Education: * Higher Vocational Training (Desirable) Experience: * Chef: 5 years (Mandatory) Language: * English (Mandatory) License/Certification: * Food Handler Certificate (Mandatory) Work Location: On-site employment
