Job Summary: We are seeking a cashier to provide customer service, process payments and invoicing, perform daily cash reconciliation, and handle incidents, while maintaining an organized checkout area. Opportunities for internal growth and promotion What will your responsibilities be? * **Customer Service:** Ensure a warm welcome and deliver prompt, friendly service at the checkout counter. * **Payment Processing and Invoicing:** Operate the cash register and card terminal (POS) to process cash, card, and coupon payments. * **Cash Reconciliation:** Perform daily opening, change control, and closing of the cash register, ensuring no discrepancies occur. * **Incident Management:** Process returns, product exchanges, and resolve basic customer complaints efficiently. * **Maintenance:** Keep the checkout area clean, tidy, and fully stocked with necessary supplies (bags, receipt paper). * **Store Support:** Occasionally assist with restocking merchandise and price labeling during low-traffic periods. What are we looking for? (Requirements) * **Experience:** Minimum 6 months–1 year in cashier or customer service roles (preferred). * **Education:** Compulsory Secondary Education (ESO). * **Skills:** Mental agility with numbers, excellent verbal communication, and attention to detail. * **Attitude:** Responsible, punctual individual with high stress tolerance during peak hours and ability to work effectively in a team. * **Availability:** Flexibility to work rotating shifts (morning/afternoon) and weekends as per the schedule.
