Possessing natural charm and hospitality, we will give you a platform to connect, grow, have fun and make an impact. Your main responsibilities will be supporting the bartending teams in the smooth running of the bar. This includes ensuring the bar is stocked with spirits, garnishes, ice and other necessary supplies during your shift. You will be trusted to keep glasses, shakers, cocktail tins, strainers and other bartender tools clean and correctly positioned for use. * Create a welcoming atmosphere for members and guests as they approach the bar * Ensure the bar is well-stocked at all times, including replenishing ice, spirits and mixers, preparing garnishes and restocking glassware * Polish glassware and store glasses safely and in the correct location * Clean cocktail tins, shakers, strainers and other bartender tools and ensure they are in the right place * Retrieve and restock drinks from the storeroom. Replenish wines, mixers, spirits, straws, napkins and garnishes * Collect glassware from the bar area, tables and other sections * Ensure bins are emptied regularly and maintain cleanliness and hygiene at all times * Carry out opening and closing procedures, including but not limited to setting up and breaking down stations * Maintain an immaculate and pristine working environment, both front and back of house * Carry drinks from the bar to tables when required * Take action on all matters relating to safety, protection, satisfaction and wellbeing of staff and members * Ensure appropriate treatment of VIPs, protecting their privacy and confidentiality * Support the team with any of their needs **What we’re looking for in a barback?..** We don’t require extensive experience, but we will value if you’ve worked in such an environment and understand key tasks. We’re looking for people with a natural instinct for outstanding service.
