You will serve as the technical reference for the engineering team, driving solution quality, data governance, and platform efficiency. **Your responsibilities** ------------- * Define and evolve data platform architectures based on **Lakehouse**. * Provide technical leadership to the engineering team and review design and architectural decisions. * Establish development standards and author **Architecture Decision Records (ADR)**. * Define and implement **data governance** strategies, including cataloging, classification, RLS, data masking, and regulatory compliance. * Drive **FinOps** practices, optimizing cloud consumption and monitoring costs. * Coordinate technical committees and act as the reference point for platform evolution. **Your profile** ------------- * Experience leading **data engineering teams** and designing data platform architectures. * Solid knowledge of **Databricks** (Lakehouse, Unity Catalog) and **MongoDB Atlas**. * Experience with **Azure Data Lake (ADLS Gen2)**. * Proficiency in **Scala** and/or **Python**. * Knowledge of **data governance** and cloud platform best practices. * Experience or interest in cost optimization (**FinOps**). * **Desirable** * Experience in regulated environments (GDPR, DORA). * Experience in banking, insurance, or other highly regulated sectors. * Certifications in **Databricks**, **MongoDB**, or **Microsoft Azure**. \#babel **What do we offer?** **Babel, the great way to achieve the success.** Do you want to join an expanding, committed, and innovative team that makes history every day?
