**ABOUT THIS ACTIVITY** We all long for freedom, but if we had to define it, we might find ourselves facing the question of knowing, really, what FREEDOM is. Elements such as genetics, education, environment, marketing, and even karma or destiny are discussed to suggest the possibility that our decisions may be more conditioned than we think, yet philosophy maintains that it is possible, despite all the factors influencing our decisions, to develop critical thinking, discern between truth and falsehood, and ultimately act freely... even when deciding to commit to something. If you are interested in learning about philosophy's contributions to self-knowledge and personal freedom, as well as the need to respect others' freedoms, this dialogue, held within the framework of World Philosophy Day celebrations, will allow you to share and discover the various issues surrounding this fascinating topic. * **ATTENDANCE CONFIRMATION REQUIRED AT PHONE NUMBER 915 228 730** * **Hours from 10:00 to 14:00 and from 18:00 to 21:00** **ABOUT WORLD PHILOSOPHY DAY** In 2005, UNESCO proclaimed the third Thursday of November each year as World Philosophy Day, with the main objective of promoting an international culture of philosophical debate that respects human dignity and diversity. Nueva Acrópolis has been present worldwide for 68 years as a school of philosophy that promotes culture and practices volunteering, so it is natural for us to join this celebration. In recent years, including this one, we have chosen the motto "Towards Unity through Diversity" for our activities. **FREE ENTRANCE**
