**BASE Protection Group, Grupo Portwest,** is seeking to incorporate a Retail Channel Technical Manager for Spain into our team. **Functions and responsibilities** * Management of commercial activities together with multi-portfolio Sales Agents * Product presentation (BASE safety footwear and ATG protective gloves) at generalist distributors (Industrial Supplies, Hardware Stores…) + Brand value proposition and in-store brand presentations + Technical response to identified needs + Product/price/service positioning * Integration within the national sales team + Area Sales Managers + Retail Channel Manager + Multi-portfolio sales delegates from the Retail Channel * Direct reporting to the Commercial Director of Base Protection Group **Profile** * Minimum 5 years of experience in the sector + Knowledge of key distributors + Experience working with multi-portfolio sales teams * Intermediate or higher education, preferably with technical and commercial training * Proficiency in office software (Excel, CRM…) * Results-oriented * Open personality, good communication skills, initiative, and self-motivation * Knowledge of English and Italian is desirable * Location: To be determined, preferably Basque Country **Objectives** * Strengthen brand presence in the Retail Channel * Drive sales through the distribution network * Acquisition of new customers **COMPANY** **AWARDS** * Great Place To Work 2024 * Private Irish Business of the year – Export Industry Awards 2025 * Silver Ecovadis Sustainability Rating 2025 Applicants must have the right to live and work in the relevant jurisdiction.
