Due to our growth and expansion, we require the incorporation of a **Building Engineer** for the **Infrastructure Division** in Gran Canaria. Reporting directly to the **Division Delegate**, your **mission** will be to **supervise and review construction projects**. Your main **responsibilities** will include: * Reviewing and controlling the execution project or existing building. * Site visits: blocks, single-family dwellings, primarily civil works. * Structural calculations for the project. * Monitoring and control of works during execution phase. * Material control (review of related test results and/or quality control certificates). * Supervision of ten-year insurance policies required from developers and/or subcontractors. * Issuing OCT reports. * Preparing execution control, watertightness, and installation reports. * Reviewing projects for compliance with the Spanish Technical Building Code (CTE). What **requirements** are needed for this position? * Degree in Construction Engineering, Building Engineering, Civil Engineering (…), or Technical Architecture. **(Officially recognized qualification in Spain is mandatory.)** * Valid driver’s license. * Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role and/or experience as an OCT or in a construction company. * Experience in Occupational Health and Safety Coordination or a Master’s degree in Preventive Risk Assessment (PRL) covering all three specialties is desirable. * Residence near the workplace.
