Job Summary: We are seeking an extrusion press operator to operate and supervise extrusion machines, perform adjustments and maintenance, and ensure part quality in the metallurgical or chemical sector. Key Responsibilities: 1. Operation and supervision of extrusion press machine 2. Performing mechanical adjustments and repairs 3. Verification of part quality We are looking for an extrusion press operator or machinist with experience in the industrial metallurgical or chemical sector to work in Llinars del Vallès. Duties include operating and supervising the extrusion press machine, configuring it according to production requirements, performing mechanical adjustments and repairs, identifying and resolving technical issues, using measuring instruments to verify part quality, and recording any deviations in parameters. Compliance with safety regulations is also required. A temporary contract is offered, with the possibility of transitioning to permanent employment upon satisfactory performance. Full-time schedule with availability to work both shifts. The fourth shift is rotating 12-hour shifts, from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. and from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m., Monday through Sunday, with corresponding rest days, including two weekends per month. Remuneration is €15.40 gross per hour plus a night-shift allowance. * Higher Vocational Training (CFGS) in Mechanical Manufacturing or Industrial Chemistry * Proficiency in computer and IT tools * Experience in the industrial metallurgical or chemical sector, with advanced practical and technical knowledge * Use of measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and comparators to ensure precision and quality in processes * Handling of basic tools such as Allen keys, fixed wrenches, etc., to perform necessary adjustments and maintenance on machinery * High proficiency in precise mechanical adjustments, ensuring proper machine operation and optimizing production processes * We seek a methodical and organized individual with strong problem-solving skills If you meet the requirements and are ready for a new challenge in a company that values talent and dedication, we want to meet you!
