**Our vacancy and your responsibilities**
We are seeking to hire a Technical Service Support Technician – High-Precision Weighing Equipment for our Technical Support Service Department.
Reporting to the Service Coordinator, you will be responsible for preventive and/or corrective interventions on weighing and analytical instruments installed in laboratories of research centers, universities, and industries (e.g., pharmaceutical, food and beverage, chemical). Scheduled visits to various customer facilities located within your assigned territory (Catalonia).
**Responsibilities:**
* On-site technical support and assistance to customers in Catalonia, plus occasional support to other regions of the Iberian Peninsula as required by service needs.
* Installation, validation, and preventive/corrective maintenance of already-installed instruments.
* Technical assistance and customer support, both on-site and via telephone.
* Familiarity with international regulations applicable to weighing instruments in the pharmaceutical sector.
* Management of spare parts for serviced instrumentation; reporting all service activities to the Regional Coordinator.
* Management of technical documentation for each customer and each intervention performed.
* Identification of customer needs and, where feasible, expansion of contracted services and/or renewal of equipment according to individual customer requirements.
**What you need**
* Higher Vocational Training degree in Electronics, and/or Automation, and/or Instrumentation, and/or Biomedical Engineering, or equivalent.
* Experience as an on-site Technical Service Support Technician; experience in the pharmaceutical or chemical sectors is highly desirable.
* Technical experience in weighing or analytical instrumentation is considered a strong asset.
* English proficiency at B1 level, sufficient to handle technical manuals and access technical training for our equipment.
* Proficiency in IT tools: Microsoft Office suite and equipment communication systems.
* Residence in Catalonia and willingness to travel across Spain.
* Valid Category B driving license.
* Strong communication skills.
