Purpose of the Position To scale up the engine workshop's painting section in line with the increased workload in the repair area. * Ensure adherence to repair Turnaround Times (TAT) for components requiring repairs or processing in the painting section * Execute work orders assigned to the painting section in accordance with approved repair processes and applicable regulations Mission and Responsibilities of the Position The TMAs in the painting section are responsible for restoring protective coatings on engine components requiring such restoration, based on capabilities defined in the repair processes issued by Repair Engineering. **Job Functions** * Surface preparation: blasting, sanding, masking, and taping * Product preparation/mixing and treatment * Coating application (brush, roller, spray, spray gun, etc.) * Baking of components: high- and low-temperature curing * Paint touch-ups and/or chemical surface conversion **Job Responsibilities** * Strict adherence to repair instructions and processes * Compliance with applicable standards and procedures for the section’s activities * Proper use and care of tools provided * Use and preparation of consumable products used in the processes * Adherence to housekeeping and cleanliness standards * Compliance with applicable occupational health and safety regulations * Accurate documentation of presence and activity in the system, per established policies Specific Job Requirements * Belong to the TMA labor group. * Technical English proficiency sufficient to read and understand technical documents. * Work experience in paint / enamel application Education, Skills and Experience Education * Intermediate or advanced vocational training in automotive fields * Intermediate level of English Skills * Analytical ability. * Ability to work in a team. * Capacity for task organization and planning. * Commitment to continuous improvement. * Interpersonal and communication skills. Experience * Experience in bodywork and painting workshops (vehicle finishing) or in quality control of vehicle production lines * Any experience in aerospace maintenance will be valued, especially in engines or components. * Proficiency and familiarity with computer tools * Proficiency with Office365\.
