Manages microbial cultures and prepares cell banks **Position**: Production Operator - Fermentation **Location**: Gavà, Barcelona, Spain **Contract Type**: Permanent **Work Mode**: On-site Join our team as a **Production Operator - Fermentation** and play a key role in growing our biotechnology production unit. **Your Mission:** * Perform production tasks including fermentation media preparation, sterilization, inoculum preparation, inoculation, sampling, fermentation monitoring, filtration, and formulation. * Ensure and maintain a clean and hygienic work environment in compliance with job-specific operational requirements and following GMP guidelines per ISO 22716 and other Quality standards. * Manage microbial cultures in liquid and solid forms, and prepare and validate cell banks. * Handle weights and industrial equipment within regulatory limits. * Perform basic maintenance tasks such as probe calibration, valve membrane and gasket replacement, and torque verification. **Education and Competencies:** Education: Vocational training in biotechnology or related field. Experience in the sector and in cell culture. Flexible working hours between 8:00 and 17\.00 h.
