





**Job Description** **Who will you work with?** Fanox, part of Wabtec Corporation, is located in Derio, Spain, and designs and manufactures relays for medium-voltage applications. You will join the R&D team and work closely with firmware engineers, mechanical engineers, and the production team. **How will you make a difference?** As a **Hardware Engineer**, you will be responsible for designing and managing both digital and analog hardware for Fanox products. You will also collaborate on maintaining existing product hardware and supporting the factory. **What will a typical day look like for you?** * Designing electronic schematics and PCBs, and specifying components. * Validating electronic designs. * Conducting and passing regulatory tests, both in internal and external laboratories (EMC, environmental, vibration, etc.). * Completing documentation related to designs. * Maintaining equipment and providing factory support. **What do we want to know about you?** * Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field. * More than 4 years of experience in a similar role. * Specific expertise in designing digital and analog electronic circuits, both at schematic and PCB levels (Altium knowledge is preferred). * Knowledge of electromagnetic compatibility, environmental, and vibration testing; experience working with external laboratories. * Fluency in English and Spanish. * Ability to work collaboratively in a team. * Strong organizational skills. * Analytical thinking. Willingness to travel internationally to external laboratories. *Legal authorization to work in the EU is required.
