A fixed\-term intermittent contract or service agreement is offered, totaling 20 hours per week, distributed as follows: Monday to Friday, 09:00–12:30 for class instruction plus one weekly team meeting hour. The next course begins on September 14 and ends on December 1 (approximately 2.5 months duration), and three courses are typically held annually. Each course trains 18 students: 6 in the cooking module and 12 in the dining service module. **Profile:** Responsibilities Deliver the "kitchen assistant" course at Fundación Raíces’ "Cocina Conciencia" School. Train 6 students to perform basic kitchen assistant duties upon completion of training, enabling employment in any restaurant in Spain. Deliver classes with a strongly practical focus oriented toward students’ labor market integration upon course completion. Promote student engagement with the training, ensuring attendance and preventing absenteeism. Strengthen fundamental competencies essential for kitchen assistant roles—including teamwork, organization, hygiene, and order—among others. Instill motivation and passion for the hospitality sector in students. Encourage students to acquire foundational knowledge of Spanish cuisine, international cuisines, and specialized topics such as pastry and baking—either directly or through specialized masterclasses. Participate in extracurricular training activities during scheduled hours, typically including company visits, cultural excursions, etc. Ensure preparation of healthy, varied, and nutritious meals for students, as class preparations serve as the daily lunch for all 18 students enrolled in the School. Collaborate regularly with the teaching team to prepare food orders required for classes and student meals, aligned with student needs. Monitor student attendance and uniform compliance. Conduct daily and weekly student follow\-ups, recorded in the designated database, in coordination with the rest of the teaching team. Evaluate students upon completion of training using the designated evaluation forms. Attend weekly team meetings alongside the rest of the teaching staff. Essential Requirements Training in Culinary Management or Higher Vocational Training (FP Grado Superior) in Cooking. Pedagogical and didactic training. Minimum two years’ professional experience as a cooking instructor working with vulnerable youth. Passion for the culinary and hospitality fields.
