What you will do: Build resilient backend services in Python for web apps, scripting, data processing, ML integrations, and APIs Set up dependency management, build pipelines, and virtual environments for scalable delivery Use containers and Azure cloud to deploy and operate services; manage CDNs, access controls, and proxies Design and operate SQL databases (ideally Postgres/Azure DB), including indexing, search, and effective data models Define architecture, APIs, and schemas; design event\-driven flows and ETL processes Document architecture decisions and design choices aligned to business and IT strategy What you bring \& who you are:Strong experience building and operating Python services in production. Solid cloud background (Azure preferred), including containers (Docker) and Infrastructure as Code (e.g Terraform). Proficient with relational databases (PostgreSQL or Azure SQL): schema design, indexing, query tuning, and operations. Strong understanding of APIs and data contracts; experience with REST or GraphQL. Comfortable defining and documenting service architectures and technical decisions. Clear communicator with a bias for quality, automation, and observability.
