Agricultural Engineer \- Irrigation Digitalization (Barcelona) **Positions Available** ---------------------- 1 **Company** ----------- Tragsatec **Project / Reason for Hiring** --------------------------------- Tecnologías y Servicios Agrarios, S.A., S.M.E., M.P., a subsidiary of the TRAGSA GROUP, specialized in engineering, consultancy, and technical assistance activities in agricultural, livestock, forestry, and environmental fields, seeks to hire 1 Agricultural Engineer to support irrigation digitalization in Barcelona. **Workplace** -------------------- * Barcelona **Functions and Responsibilities** ---------------------- * Review technical-economic reports submitted for justification, in accordance with criteria defined in the call. * Continuous monitoring, both office-based and on-site, to verify compliance with obligations imposed on beneficiaries. * Rigorously apply all regulations related to public subsidies funded by European funds. * Operate corporate IT tools to control, account for, and record this type of subsidy. * Implement the methodology and application rules for reviewing beneficiaries' justification of expenses incurred in subsidized projects. * On-site verification of installed equipment, including technical and functional assessment of investment maintenance. **Specific Requirements** -------------------------- Compliance with requirements and/or merits must be substantiated either through evaluation tests and/or by attaching required documentation in the “Annexes” section of the registration questionnaire. The Tragsa Group reserves the right to request at any stage of the process documentary evidence supporting information provided in the application, as well as to require additional information from the CV whenever necessary to verify the stated requirements and/or merits for this vacancy. ### **Education** #### **Qualification** * Hold a degree in Agricultural Engineering or a Bachelor’s/Technical Engineering degree plus an Official Master’s in Agricultural or Agronomic Engineering (MECES Level 3) (degree recognized in Spain or equivalence certificate issued by the General Secretariat of Universities). ### **Other Mandatory Requirements** * Valid Spanish driving license type B. * Availability to travel throughout the national territory. **Merits (Evaluable)** ------------------------ ### **Education** #### **Additional Training** * Additional verifiable training in Artificial Intelligence. * Additional verifiable training in Precision Agriculture, Remote Sensing, and/or RPAS (Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems). #### **Languages** * English Level: B2 ### **Prior Experience** * Between 1 and 4 years’ experience managing and justifying projects funded by European funds (experience under employment contract). ### **Other Meritorious Factors** * Intermediate or advanced proficiency in Excel (to be verified during technical assessment). * Intermediate or advanced proficiency in QGIS/ArcGIS (to be verified during technical assessment). * At least 1 year’s work experience under employment contract in the field of instrumentation, information and communication technologies applied to water control in irrigation schemes, water-soil relationships, and water-plant relationships in irrigated agriculture (to be verified during technical assessment). * Intermediate or advanced proficiency in Access (to be verified during technical assessment). **Observations** ----------------- * Offer includes: + Fixed-term contract with an estimated duration of 10 months, linked to the execution of the assignment detailed in the publication for the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan or financed by European Union Funds + Full-time working hours Application submission period is open from today, 18/08/2026 until 01/09/2026 at 23:59 (Peninsular Time).
