Seeking a technician for network infrastructure maintenance and support in El Prat de Llobregat. The role involves managing and supervising communication systems to ensure continuous operation. Tasks include configuration, equipment diagnostics, and constant network monitoring using specialized tools. Daily responsibilities include incident management via tickets and email, preparation of status reports, and maintaining an up-to-date hardware inventory. Periodic preventive maintenance and monitoring activities will also be carried out to contribute to operational environment stability. Close collaboration with other teams is required to resolve complex technical issues, and continuous process improvement is expected. An indefinite-term contract is offered, with weekly rotating shifts covering morning, afternoon, and night hours across 24 hours. The annual gross salary is 17\.300 euros. Approximately one weekend per month and a half will be worked. The position is located at the airport facilities. Practical knowledge is required in configuring switches from various manufacturers (e.g., Cisco, Nortel, Hirschmann), VLAN management, PoE, and APs. Experience in diagnosing and resolving network incidents—both independently and through escalation to other teams—is essential. Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Zabbix and ticketing systems like Remedy is desirable. Proficiency in structured cabling (both copper and fiber optic) and rack-mounted equipment installation is mandatory.
