At the San José de Villacarriedo senior residence, located in Bárcena de Carriedo, we are seeking to hire a gerocultor or gerocultora. Candidates must hold either the Medium-Level Vocational Training Certificate in Nursing Auxiliary Care, or the Technical Qualification in Care for Dependent Persons, or the Professional Certification in Socio-Healthcare Services in Social Institutions. A personal vehicle is required to reach the facility, and basic knowledge of occupational risk prevention, quality, and environmental matters is valued. Working hours will be part-time, totaling 30 hours per week, distributed from Monday to Sunday in rotating morning and afternoon shifts. A temporary contract for 4 months is offered. Selected candidates will have access to the "Cuidado en Red" (Care Network) service, providing year-round psycho-emotional support. Main responsibilities include assisting and supporting residents in daily activities they cannot perform independently—such as personal hygiene, feeding, accompaniment, and postural changes—as well as attending to their personal needs and environment, always ensuring their physical and mental well-being.
