DRIVER

Description

We currently require a rigid truck driver for the distribution of palletized goods in the province of Barcelona. Safely, efficiently, and lawfully transport goods by road, always complying with traffic regulations. Evaluate and follow the most efficient and safe routes, considering factors such as traffic conditions and heavy vehicle restrictions. Manage time effectively to complete deliveries and services within scheduled timeframes. Maintenance and safety: Perform routine inspections before, during, and after each trip to verify proper functioning of mechanical components (brakes, tires, lights, etc.). Comply with occupational health and safety regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Loading and unloading: Supervise loading and unloading operations to ensure goods are properly arranged and secured. Assist with loading and unloading tasks, and ensure goods arrive in good condition. Administrative management: Manage and keep up-to-date all documentation required for transportation and delivery of goods. Record information regarding trips, fuel consumption, incidents, and other events as specified by the tachograph. Report service progress, incidents, or any other relevant matters to the company or supervisor. * Minimum 2 years of experience. At least 2 years’ driving experience, preferably with rigid trucks and pallet deliveries. * COMPLETED PRIMARY EDUCATION * Driving license: C * Permanent employment contract * Full-time position * Gross monthly salary ranging from '2100' to '2500' * Additional relevant information: Full-time working schedule with fixed hours from Monday to Friday.
