**We are looking for a Cloud Area Lead! | 100% Remote in Spain** Do you have experience leading Cloud teams and are passionate about designing and governing **multicloud** architectures? We are seeking a **Cloud Area Lead** to join a **stable project within the energy sector**, with a **100% remote work model in Spain**. * **️ What will be your mission?** You will be responsible for the technical leadership of a Cloud area, ensuring architecture quality, platform evolution, and compliance with service-level agreements (SLAs). Your key responsibilities will include: Technically leading a team of **5\-8 professionals**. Designing and governing architectures on **Azure and AWS**. Defining standards for **Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)**, deployment, and quality. Designing and evolving Kubernetes architectures on **AKS and EKS**. Establishing strategies for high availability, disaster recovery, networking, and identity. Promoting architectural best practices based on the **Well\-Architected Framework**. Participating in the transition and knowledge transfer from an outgoing vendor. Ensuring correct operation of the area under **SLA**, using tools such as ServiceNow. Reducing reactive workload through root cause analysis and resolution. Acting as the technical liaison with the client, translating business needs into technological solutions. ### **What are we looking for?** * **7\-8 years of experience** in Cloud environments. * At least **3 years as a Cloud Architect or Technical Lead** for production platforms. * Experience leading teams of **5\-8 people**. * Solid experience with **Azure and AWS**. * Kubernetes: **AKS, EKS, Helm**, and cluster operations/architecture. * **Terraform is mandatory**, plus experience with Ansible. * Experience with **Azure DevOps and Git**. * Knowledge of observability, cloud security, and governance. * Experience working under **SLA** and operational models. * **Native or bilingual Spanish**. * **Minimum B1 English**. * **Nice-to-have qualifications:** ✔️ **CKA, CKAD or CKS**. ✔️ AWS Solutions Architect – Professional. ✔️ Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ\-305\). ✔️ AWS DevOps Engineer – Professional or Security – Specialty. ✔️ Experience with Terragrunt, multi-account management, and Policy as Code. ✔️ Experience in transition projects or vendor changes. ✔️ Experience in regulated sectors, especially **energy or industrial**. ### **A technically demanding project** You will work in an environment where **security, business continuity, and regulatory compliance** are critical, using enterprise tools such as Wiz, Prisma, Tenable, CyberArk, and Splunk/Log Analytics.
